DESCRIPTION
VisualMill 2.5 is a high performance manufacturing system for machining 3D parts of any shape. Complete machining functionality featuring 3 axis, 2 1/2 axis (profiling, pocketing, facing), engraving, hole-making and unlimited shop floor adaptability through a user configurable post-processor, is now available in one, easy to use and affordably priced product
VisualMill 2.5 allows users to plan and create machining operations such as roughing, pre-finishing, finishing, re-machining and hole-making. On-screen pushbutton selection of tools, machining operation parameters, and display functions allows for fast, easy and intuitive creation of these machining operations. Further, these user-defined machining operations can be captured in VisualMillııs knowledge database for reuse, thereby eliminating redundant setup times while generating error-free tool paths. VisualMillııs built in cut material simulation and tool animation add visual realism to help users prove out the generated tool paths before running them on the machine tool. Additionally, VisualMillııs toolpath optimization functions can be utilized to generate highly optimized machine code that significantly cuts down machine time and improves the quality of surface finish. VisualMill is based on the world class Parasolid modeling kernel and offers SolidWorks users easy, efficient and error free means to transform their 3D design models to machined parts on the shop floor.
